Prototype I'm working on until i find an internship/job as a gamedev.

Inspired by pokeclicker.com.

content:

- saving system

- branched digivolution with requirements

- quests system

- village that can unlock new gameplay elements with new buildings.

- idle/clicker system

- boss battle with team management and elemental/type advantage

etc...

the game is not finished and still need a lot of work but thanks for giving it a try!

assets are mainly from, digimon world: next order, digimon story: cyber sleuth and digimon new century.

It would be great if there was an explanation on how catching digimon from areas worked, or a way to see the requirements for digivolving

Thanks for trying my game, yeah that’s something I should either put in the tutorial or try to find a way by making it obvious in the game design. I kind of tried it but that doesn’t seem to be working well. There is a quest that gives you a building that helps you with the digivolving requirements (dojo) and there are quests around the world that give you all the “baby” digimons. Every other one you get them by digivolving the babies you got.

I just didn't make it to the dojo then. After the tutorial quests that teach you about digivolving I didn't want to spend resources without knowing how to work towards the next digivolutions but without the dojo unlocked yet that's just guesswork.

Maybe putting the dojo a bit earlier on or something would help

I see, i’ll probably add tutorial quest to direct the player in the desert and swap the quest there for the dojo’s quest so the player can access it early. thank you for the feedback.
